| Land Bank Returns $600,000 to Stockholders
Patronage payments totaling $600,000 were paid to Central Texas Farm Credit, ACA stockholders
in February 2003. The patronage refunds are based on strong 2002 earnings.
This is the sixth consecutive year that Central Texas Farm Credit, ACA stockholders received
patronage payments, which reduce their overall cost of borrowing from
the association. This year's refund amounted to about 5.5% of the interest
that our customers paid on their loans during the year.
FLBA Donations Assist Local Youth Programs
Since 1996, Central Texas Farm Credit, ACA has helped underwrite the West Texas Rehabilitation Center in the "Round-Up for Rehab"
campaign. The association believes in promoting the future of agriculture through programs such as these and others
including local livestock shows and area 4-H contests.
Tenure
The association is blessed with long-term employees with a strong knowledge
of the real estate in their area. The association CEO will have 37 years
of service in 2003, Brownwood branch president 32 years, San Angelo branch
president 24 years, Haskell branch office 22 years, and the Coleman branch
president 18 years. Members of the support staff have up to 25 years of
service.
